This WiFi signal detector will get you noticed. Especially if you stand around playing with it while searching for a signal. Lots of questions were asked when we pulled it out to search for WiFi locations. It can also be well hidden when searching for signals.
Only a few minor suggestions here for Mobile Edge. Make a few more colors, because everyone likes to color coordinate, and just techie up the case design a bit.
Its a great piece of WiFi hardware nonetheless.
Functionality
The Mobile Edge WiFi signal locator is very sleek, and easy to hide in the palm of your hand while surfing for a WiFi signal in your area.
There are 4 lights that light up when the button is pressed that give a low to high WiFi range signal power. Picture the front of KIT in KnightRider, with the glowing red grille.
The battery life seems very good so far. We have had our going non-stop for the past few weeks, and it still seems like its going strong.
Price
The Mobile Edge WIFi signal locator is a great stocking stuffer. Its very reasonably priced. Well, its pretty darn cheap.
