Vonage Files for IPO

Wednesday, February 8th, 2006

Vonage - the internet Voip phone company - filed for IPO today. They are hoping to raise up to $250 Million in investment capital to boost their efforts higher on the map. They have recently had a lot of spending aquiring subscripbers through high media buys.

Vonage has also announced the hiring of Mike Snyder, a new CEO for the organization. Snyder was formerly a president of ADT.

Vonage’s current monthly fee for service is $24.99. And the cost to aquire each customer has been in upwards of $214 USD.

This puts the Internet Voip phone company right where they should be, at the head of the pack so far.

Database & Platform failure - but we’re all happy now!

Wednesday, February 8th, 2006

We apologize for the lack of postings as of late. In an attempt to keep Mobati.net up with technology, the team updated the database and platform used for publishing. All was great. Not. We ended up getting tons of errors, and conflicting scripts.

The good thing is that we are back on track - database archive intact - and ready to roll out new content.

Stay tuned for some really exciting product reviews that are not to be missed!

Thanks again for your patience!
